Saracens up as Valkyrs B lose top flight status

Valkyrs B’s bid to stay in the top flight finally ended on Saturday.

Despite a Stephen Moore double, they were beaten 3-2 by Vikings B who preserved their top flight status as a result.

Dave Millward, Ian Perry and Mark Dougherty netted to secure their survival.

They’ll be replaced by Saracens Sabres who sealed the PwC Mixed Division One title with a 1-1 draw with Valkyrs C.

Elsewhere in the Premier Division, champions Bacchas A’s bid for a 100 per cent league campaign was ended as arch rivals Valkyrs A beat them 3-2.

Vikings A, the side they’ll play in next week’s cup final, were 5-4 winners over Celts, while Bacchas B saw off Ramsey 4-0.
