New structure won't bring overnight improvements says Chief Minister

by isleofman.com 9th March 2014
It could be some time before the newly structured government starts to make a real difference.
Chief Minister Allan Bell announced the changes to government departments at the end of last week.
Among the changes, Chris Robertshaw takes on roles on the employers' side of the Whitley Council and the Civil Service Commission and Bill Henderson returns to Treasury.
Michael MHK Alf Cannan will head up the new Manx Utilities Authority as the Water Authority and the MEA combine.
Mr Bell says while it may take some time for the new team to bed in, the MUA has got to get up to speed as quickly as possible
