Kegels & Cake Workshop

by isleofman.com 30th January 2017

Rachel Kermeen, the Isle of Man’s only Holistic Core Restore® Coach and Women’s Wellness and Fitness expert is hosting a highly anticipated “Kegels & Cake” Workshop on Thursday 9th February 2017.

Rachel explains, “The Workshop is aimed at any women wanting to find out more about how to better their pelvic floor strength. Whether they have had children or not, it is such an important topic that affects far more many women than we talk about. The good news is that there is support available and there are also many things you can do at home to improve your own pelvic health … and this doesn’t include ‘clenching’ at the traffic lights!

At the Workshop, I will introduce the concepts behind pelvic floor health which includes foods and habits that do and don’t support this, how your pelvic floor strength is linked to lower back pain, and how to get a better belly and core strength at any age!  If you have gone through pregnancy, we will also discuss why some women develop Diastasis Recti (a tummy gap) after birth and what exercise is best to heal it.  All this whilst enjoying the support from likeminded women and eating some cake!”.

The event runs from 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm at Karma Lounge, Warehouse Fitness (ladies only gym).  Tickets are ?10 and are available online at for this event are limited and can be purchased for ?10 at http://www.totalwellbeing.co.im/foofoofun-club/kegels-cake-workshop/
