Police seize drugs with street value of ?196,000

On Saturday 28th January 2017 Police seized around ?196,000 worth of Class B controlled drug Cannabis from a vehicle in the Pulrose area of Douglas. A 52 year old man from Liverpool was arrested in connection with the seizure and has subsequently been charged with serious drugs offences.  He will be appearing at Court on Monday 30th January 2017.

Detective Sergeant Vinny Lund of The Proactive Team said, “It’s yet another substantial seizure of Cannabis on the Island and with the public’s help we can make further seizures, if you have information or have seen something suspicious please contact us or crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
