Following a review of operating hours the Southern Civic Amenity Site Board announce that for the coming financial year the site shall be open to the public during the following hours:

Tuesday – Sunday:
09 30- 16 00

Monday:
Closed

Public Holidays:
Closed

Speaking today the Chairman of the Board, Alan Grace said,

“Over the last two years we have trialled longer operating hours to assess the response of our customers. They clearly like our earlier opening and lunchtime opening. We need, however, to balance this greater access with the cost it incurs. Our site requires investment and the cost of disposal of waste has risen significantly. The Board have taken the decision to alter our opening hours in order that we can make provision for investment without putting a greater call on ratepayer’s funds.”
