There’s been more criticism of an online racist group set up by Isle of Man students.
Both the Sun newspaper and the Telegraph have stories today about the Facebook Group which described itself as the 'Manx Ku Klux Klan'.
Many of its members were pupils at the Island’s secondary schools and had left racist messages online.
This morning, Education Minister Anne Craine said the group reflected badly on the students and the Isle of Man.
She told Manx Radio:
"It does make the Isle of Man look bad, it makes us look like some sort of backwater, truthfully.
"I would like to think that we have actually developed our welcome over the years.
"We have a diverse economy and a diverse community to feed that economy these days, and I'm very proud of the fact that within our schools we've been able to absorb the children who need additional support through language, and have come from foreign shores, and hopefully made them feel welcome."
