‘Winchelsea Yawl’
A classic 16ft dayboat / ‘Trailer-Sailer’.
(Just to be accurate, this boat was described as a Yawl by the manufacturer, but in fact it is a Ketch configuration, due to the mizzen being situated in front of the rudder pillar.)
This boat is in excellent condition, and has had very little use. It is and has been stored under cover and on its Rapide galvanised trailer.
Of GRP construction, with a deck length of 16 ft, waterline length of 13.1 ft and an overall length of 21.9 ft including the Bowsprit.
Substantial Built-in buoyancy of 20 cubic feet, inspection hatches and stowage.
Oiled hardwood gunwhales, benches, cockpit floor strips and teak coaming surrounds. Hand operated bilge pump.
Ballast included giving 1050lbs of displacement.
High quality terylene brown sails.
Gunter rigged: Jib (Furling), Main and Mizzen. 140 sq.ft Sail area.
Brailing lines and Block Management System.
