It’s that time of year again, as autumn approaches, for your annual flu jab, this year the Ramsey Group Practice will be running two “Health Days” at the Town Hall, Parliament Square, Ramsey.
All those eligible can have their flu jab by one of our GPs or Practice Nurses without having to bother with the diversions due to the Bowring Road improvement works, at the same time you can have your weight and blood pressure checked.
There will be stalls run by Age Concern, the Fire Brigade who will advise on home safety, McMillan services, falls prevention and Victim Support. Refreshments will be available and no appointment is necessary.
The Ramsey Health Day will run from 10am to 4 pm on Thursday 14th October and Thursday 21st October.
It promises to be a novel way of helping people get ready for the winter and stay fit and healthy.
Dr Allinson from the Ramsey Group Practice said: “ The Ramsey Group Practice thought they would try and reach the community more effectively by coming into the centre of town and would like to thank the Commissioners for their help in using the Town Hall”
For those who cannot manage to attend, vaccinations will be available at the Group Practice, please phone 01624 811900 for further details.
