‘Manx Graduates’ (www.manxgraduates.im), the Isle of Man’s dedicated professional networking and recruitment portal has been shortlisted in two categories of the prestigious National Graduate Recruitment Awards. The National Graduate Recruitment Awards are held annually and previous winners include WHSmith, City of London Police, and Henderson Global. The Awards feature 10 categories, and the companies featured in the finalists’ short list come from a broad range of sectors. Finalists in this year’s awards include household names and global market leaders such as L’Oreal, Avon, Reckitt Benckiser and Pareto Law, amongst others. Manx Graduates has been shortlisted for an award in the ‘Best Graduate Recruitment Website / Micro site’ category. Judges for this award will be looking at Manx Graduates’ use of technical innovation. The site is built on PDMS’ own innovative FoundationsTM, framework and makes use of social networking technologies. Manx Graduates has also been shortlisted for ‘The Most Innovative Way of Attracting Graduates’. Judging criteria for this award include ‘innovation in strategy, marketing, processes’ and services offered. This award has been sponsored by Thames Valley University. The National Graduate Recruitment Awards culminate in an awards ceremony in London at the end of October when the winner of each category is announced along with a ‘highly commended’ and a ‘certificate of merit’. The judging panel is convening before the end of the month, and results will be announced shortly after. Ends
