The Company, which is based in Douglas, will be promoting the Island's reputation as a well respected international business centre and as an established platform for business success and prosperity at the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Asia conference in Hong Kong in November. The ILS Group is a Gold Sponsor at the prestigious event, which will be attended by 350 business leaders from around the world. The Company will be represented by eight of its directors from its offices worldwide. The conference, entitled Tax and Trusts in Asia: Back to Our Future, will be held on November 9 and 10 and will highlight issues relevant to the financial services industry including, the effect of IFC’s on developing nations, confidentiality, the paradox of privacy, G20, international finance centres and cross-border succession issues.
