The Barclays Wealth Intermediary and Institutional Wealth Solutions (IIWS) team has been strengthened by the appointment of Sue MacGregor and Jamie Joughin. The IIWS team, headed up by Steve McCafferty, services Barclays Wealth’s top 100 Intermediary and Institutional clients who have the most complex and specialist banking and investment requirements. Both Sue and Jamie recently joined the team as relationship managers to complement the existing team of nine relationship managers, account executives and administration staff. Sue brings a wealth of experience in key intermediary and large banking to the team. She joined Barclays Wealth from RBS PLC, London where she was based in their Major Corporate Division heading up a business development unit which spanned the retail, leisure and media, financial institutions, healthcare and industrial sectors. Prior to 2005, Sue managed the local professionals based here in the Isle of Man for RBSI and Isle of Man Bank, previously having headed the RBSI Offshore Payment Investigations unit, which at the time spanned responsibility for all offshore jurisdictions. In her position in the IIWS team, Sue is now responsible for our key clients based within our specialist banking team, focused on managing and delivering through our Institutional Funds Sector relationships. Sue lives and is based in the Isle of Man and provides relationship management both to locally based ‘selected’ key Fund Administrators whilst continuing to manage relationships with a portfolio of London based Fund Managers in the ever changing and competitive Funds market. Jamie joined the team from his previous role within Barclays Wealth as Service and Support Manager for Barclays Wealth Intermediaries. In this role he was responsible for driving service improvements for the intermediaries business in the Isle of Man including managing a team of account executives. Jamie works closely with Sue and he also looks after locally based Fund Administrators and Investment Managers in the Isle of Man together with Investments Managers in London. The IIWS proposition has been developed specifically for those intermediary and institutional clients who have complex requirements. The team meets the needs of clients based both in the Isle of Man, and globally by building sustainable partnerships and developing plans for long-term financial success. The IIWS team provides clients with a range of world class investment and banking products as well as product and platform solutions which will allow clients to access the full capability of Barclays Capital and the Barclays Group.
