At around 3 am on Thursday 23rd September 2010, extensive damage was caused to a black Peugeot motor vehicle which was parked and unattended in the area of Mona Street, Douglas. The vehicle in question had all of its windows smashed and its tyres punctured. At this time it is not believed that anything was stolen from within the vehicle. Police Constable Jon Penman of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team says: “We are particularly interested in identifying a male who was seen in the area at the time of the incident and who is described as wearing a white t-shirt and carrying what is believed to have been a garden fork." Anyone who may have been in the area at that time or who saw or knows anything about the incident is urged to contact Constable Penman at Douglas Police Headquarters on 631212. - Ends -
