Ramsey Litter Pick

by isleofman.com 22nd September 2010
Community group Faith in Action is continuing to make a difference to Ramsey by organising a litter pick on Sunday September 26. The group will be targeting some of the harder-to-reach areas around the town in their end-of-season clean up. Ramsey Town Commissioners’ chairman Nigel Malpass said: ‘Faith in Action is to be applauded for their tireless commitment to helping make Ramsey a cleaner, greener town for the benefit of residents, businesses and visitors. The Commissioners are pleased to support Faith in Action’s environmental endeavours and the level of support the group inspires is a clear demonstration of the strength of community spirit that exists in Ramsey.’ Faith in Action welcomes additional volunteers for the clean up that starts from Station Road car park adjacent to Shoprite supermarket at 2pm and is expected to finish no later than 4pm. Litter pickers, gloves and bin bags will be provided. - Ends -
