Gillian Anderson has been appointed development assistant to Douglas Development Partnership. Mrs Anderson, formerly PA to the managing director of HSBC Security Services, will be assisting development manager Chris Pycroft and looking after the day-to-day operation of the Partnership’s town centre management projects, including Shopwatch and licensing street entertainers and pavement cafes on behalf of Douglas Borough Council. She will also be supporting Mr Pycroft as he oversees the Douglas town centre regeneration scheme in partnership with the Douglas local regeneration committee. Mr Pycroft said: ‘At a time when the Partnership’s involvement in the town centre regeneration scheme and its work with an increasingly wide range of private and public sector bodies are gathering pace Gill’s wealth of administrative and business skills will prove invaluable.
