Police are requesting information regarding a navy blue Toyata Aygo vehicle being scratched and damaged. This occurred between 4.00pm on Sunday 12th September and 10.00am on Wednesday 15th September 2010 having been parked in a residential around Reayrt Aalin, Ramsey Road, Peel. Officers from the Eastern Neighbourhood are investigating the theft of a motor car which was parked in the Port Soderick car park between the 13th and 15th of September.
The vehicle is a red Renault Clio registration number FMN727J. If anyone has any information in regard to this vehicle can they contact Constable Tony Lawler at Onchan Police Station on 675190.

Douglas Police are investigating an act theft which has occurred on Hillside Avenue, DOUGLAS.
Between Sunday 5th September and Wednesday 15th September unknown person(s) have entered the rear garden of a property and removed oil from the storage tank in the garden. The tank was secured with a padlock but this has been removed by the offenders.
PC 277 Steve Giddins investigating said “I would urge all residents with oils tanks to check their security as winter approaches and people consider filling their tanks” .

Police are investigating an attempted burglary to an office on Finch Road, which occurred between 4 pm on Tuesday 14th September 2010 and 8 am Wednesday 15th September 2010. The offenders have climbed up scaffolding on the outside of the building and attempted to open a window.
Constable Watterson of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team states “Fortunately the offenders did not gain entry in to the building and had entry been gained the property alarm would have activated; however this incident highlights the potential problems that can occur when building are under renovation and scaffolding is erected. I would urge everyone to be vigilant and take all precautions possible to prevent further similar crimes being committed.”
