Police are requesting information regarding a black Ford Focus motor vehicle that was damaged between 9.20am and 13.00pm on Friday 10th September 2010 whilst parked in Douglas Road car park, Peel. The vehicle was scratched using a sharp implement and considerable damage caused to the bodywork of the car. Anyone who knows anything about this incident is asked to contact Constable 273 Lissa BARKLIE at Police Headquarters on 631212.

Douglas Police are investigating theft of a child’s pedal cycle which took place in Cedar Walk, Tromode, DOUGLAS overnight between Saturday 11th September 2010 and Sunday 12th September. The bike is silver coloured, it has a very distinctive low riding style and has no seat. PC 277 Steve Giddins investigating said “I am keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed anyone riding this bike since Sunday 12th September. The bike was taken from a quiet cul-de-sac and I would remind island residents to be vigilant in securing their property when it is unattended.”

Police are appealing for witnesses following damage caused to a silver Ford Ka. The car was parked on the lay-by, off the junction with Bowring Road and North Shore Road when it has suffered damage to the driver’s door. The incident has happened, at some time between 4pm on Monday 13th and 1pm on Tuesday 14th September.
