Peel Police are investigating an act of mindless vandalism that has occurred on Peel Golf Course sometime during the evening between Tuesday 7th Sept 2010 and Wednesday 8th Sept 2010.
The vandals who will know who they are have caused an extreme amount of mess to a part of the course. Tee box signs have been uprooted and broken, benches have been moved and it would appear attempts have been made to start a fire.
Constable Darren Wylde of Peel Police Station has asked if anyone can supply information in to the identity of the culprits then they are asked to contact Peel Station. This unnecessary mindless act will not be tolerated and any persons found committing any damage will be prosecuted.
Peel officers will be paying attention to the area.

Southern Police Officers are investigating an act of theft that occurred in the Colby area, between 7:30pm, Sunday 5th September 2010 and 7:30am, Tuesday 7th September 2010.
Police Officers are appealing for witnesses to the theft of scrap lead and copper from outside of a property in Colby. Police believe that due to the amount of scrap stolen, the culprits would have taken considerable time and used a truck or vehicle with a trailer to remove it.
Any person who may have seen anything suspicious during this period or witnessed the theft happening is asked to contact PC David Hall at Castletown Police Station.

Police are investigating the report of a pair of specialist spectacles that went missing from a table situated in a recreational grassed area in Broogh Wyllin, Kirk Michael on Sunday 29th July 2010.
The spectacles have been specially produced for a young person and their loss has caused a great deal of upset and distress to the child.
They are ‘Hilco Jam’n’ and a made from a clear plastic with specialist yellow lenses fitted. They are very unique and the arms are stamped with the serial number 36/622/3000.
Peel Police are very keen to speak with anyone who has seen these spectacles or can provide any information as to their whereabouts.
