Dressing Down For The Disabled

by isleofman.com 7th September 2010
Santander’s local savings subsidiary, Alliance & Leicester International, have boosted the funds of the Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled by ?350 following a series of dress down days held at both their offices and that of sister company Bradford & Bingley International. Julie Needham, Head of Fundraising for the Foundation, commented “We were over the moon to receive such a generous donation from Alliance & Leicester International. With the large number of charities all competing on such a small island, it is fantastic that Alliance & Leicester are able to spread their assistance so wide.” Commenting on the support the bank have been able to provide the foundation, Community Affairs Manager George Campbell said “Being able to visit the Foundation and meet the members first hand when presenting the funds, I know that this money will be well spent and will go some way to helping those who are less fortunate than ourselves”. -ENDS-
