Isle of Man Advertising Bureau Boost Sales Team

by isleofman.com 6th September 2010
The Isle of Man Advertising Bureau has appointed Sue Dainton as Sales Manager. Sue has excellent sales credentials and is very well known and respected on the Island, having previously worked as a sales representative at both Manx Radio and Isle of Man Newspapers. She is now working closely with account executive Tim Shallcross, who has a dual role in sales development and production management. The Isle of Man Advertising Bureau was established as a trading name by Isle of Man Advertising & PR in January 2010. It exclusively sells all advertising opportunities at the Isle of Man Airport and Sea Terminal, poster sites and sponsorship packages on board all Isle of Man Steam Packet vessels and at it’s UK Terminals, plus the local advertising reel for the Palace Cinema. It also offers fixed term contracts for Isle of Man Transport buses, is working with the Isle of Man Post Office on the Island’s first dedicated Postcode Directory and has most recently added MannVend vending cups to its growing portfolio. Helen Summerscales, managing director of Isle of Man Advertising & PR commented, “Despite a very challenging trading environment, Bureau sales have been very encouraging this year. We are continuously on the look out for new ambient media opportunities to represent and the range is building up nicely. Sue’s appointment is very important to us. She is our first dedicated sales colleague and I believe she is a great ambassador for our business.” ENDS
