Dog Attack

On the afternoon on Tuesday 31st August an incident occurred in the children’s play area on Loch Promenade, Douglas where a 7yr boy from Braddan was bitten on the left leg by a small brown dog. The boy had been playing in the area, accompanied by an adult relative. He was subsequently taken to Nobles hospital and received treatment in the Accident and Emergency Department, before being released. The police are appealing for any witnesses to this event to come forward to assist in the investigation. If anybody has information please contact PC 193 CRETNEY at Lord Street Police Station on 631212. ENDS
