Abacus Set To Cruise With New Yacht and Aircraft Team

Abacus announces new appointments to their Yacht and Aircraft department. 05, October 2010 (Douglas, Isle of Man) - - Continued development of its’ yachting operations has led Abacus to make a new senior appointment to their Yacht and Aircraft department. Barbara Jolly has been appointed Yacht and Aircraft Manager, where it is intended she will help drive Abacus’ Yachting and Aviation business forward, using her significant knowledge and experience in this specialist area of the fiduciary industry. Director, Emer Dowling said, “Abacus has been servicing the Yacht and Aircraft sector for 10 years. During that period, our services have expanded considerably to serve the Yachting industry’s diverse requirements. Barbara’s enthusiasm for this sector makes her a key player in ensuring we provide a quality service to our Yacht and Aircraft clients, whilst continuing to strengthen and develop our relationships with other service providers and governmental bodies in the industry.” Barbara comes to Abacus with specialist fiduciary experience in the formation and administration of international ownership structures, for private and commercial yacht and aircraft owners. She says, “I am delighted to have been offered this role at Abacus. This industry is one of vibrancy, providing new and unique challenges on a regular basis. The opportunity to lead the Yacht and Aircraft team is one of excitement, and I hope to further enhance the level of service we are able to provide to the Yacht and Aircraft industry and of course our existing and prospective clients.” Barbara has 17 years experience in the management of insurance companies within the specialist areas of shipping and aviation and in addition to her industry expertise, she is a Member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, specialising in taxation. Abacus is also pleased to welcome Jodie Beecroft as Yacht and Aircraft Administrator. Jodie will be assisting Barbara by administering both their existing and prospective clients and their ownership structures.
