Request For Information

by isleofman.com 11th October 2010
Between 9.15PM on Thursday 7th October and 8.15 AM the following morning a Mitsubishi L200 pick up vehicle was parked at the rear of the Total Petrol Filling station Kirk Michael. During that time an unknown person has ripped off the front spotlights of the vehicle leaving the broken brackets behind still attached to the pickup. If anyone has any information to this act of Vandalism can they contact PC 65 Brammall at Peel Police station on 842208 or any other Police Officer. Ends -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Between the hours of 11pm on Friday 8th October and 9am Saturday 9th October 2010 a red motor vehicle has been parked and left unattended on Murray’s Road in Douglas next to the ‘rose gardens’. Between these times somebody has smashed the glass in the rear window of the vehicle. Police would like to hear from anybody who may have seen the vandalism taking place or who has any information as to the person or persons responsible. PC Andy McKillop of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team has said this sort of needless vandalism causes distress and inconvenience to owners of vehicles parked on the roads overnight and as such asks that people be vigilant to this sort of crime and call the police if they hear or see damage being caused to vehicles. All calls will be treated with the strictest confidence. ENDS
