On the day Peel RNLI lifeboat was called out in stormy conditions to rescue a yacht in trouble the ladies of Peel Ladies Lifeboat Guild were busy raising money to keep the boat and volunteer crew at sea. On Friday 8th October the ladies under the direction of chair Hazel Hannan held a coffee morning in the Guild Room ,Peel and raised a further ?257 pounds to add to the ?2014 raised at the Mhellia a week earlier. With each launch costing thousands of pounds this has been a very good week for the fund raising arm at Peel. The ladies would like to once again thank all the supporters who not only attended but supplied goods for both events. Ends
