Ramsey Civic Service

The Chairman of Ramsey Town Commissioners Captain Nigel Malpass, JP, will hold his civic service at 10.30am on Sunday October 17 at the United Reformed Church in Waterloo Road, Ramsey. The service will be preceded by a parade to the church leaving from the Town Hall in Parliament Square at 10.05, in which the Chairman will be joined by fellow Ramsey Town Commissioners together with representatives from Government, local authorities and uniformed organisations. Members of those uniformed organisations wishing to participate in the parade, which will be led by the Ramsey Town Band, are requested to assemble in front of the Town Hall from 9:45am. The parade will proceed to the church via Parliament Street and Waterloo Road. Members of the public are also invited to attend the service which will be led by the Chairman's chaplain the Rev Lionel Thomas. Captain Malpass said: ‘I am proud to be hosting Ramsey’s Civic Sunday event and hope that as many people as possible will join me and my fellow Commissioners at the United Reformed Church.’ Ends
