PC Hannah Lace from Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is investigating an incident that occurred on Monday 11th of October where a female was allegedly assaulted by a male on Market Street between 2pm and 4pm. It is believed that several members of the public witnessed the incident outside McKay & Co and the Police are especially interested in speaking with a lady parked opposite McKay & Co who got out of her car at the time and another lady with a pram who was also present whilst this the assault was taking place. If anyone has any details regarding this incident please can they contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Police are appealing for witnesses following an altercation that occurred between 1.15am and 1.35 am on Saturday 9th October 2010. This incident may have involved at least 5 persons and is believed to have occurred in the area of the Instanbul take away and Sam Webbs on Castle Street, Douglas. Police would like anyone who may have knowledge of this incident or the persons responsible to contact any member of the Douglas Policing Team on 631212.
