PC Hannah Lace from Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is investigating an incident that occurred on Monday 11th of October where a female was allegedly assaulted by a male on Market Street between 2pm and 4pm. It is believed that several members of the public witnessed the incident outside McKay & Co and the Police are especially interested in speaking with a lady parked opposite McKay & Co who got out of her car at the time and another lady with a pram who was also present whilst this the assault was taking place. This incident may have involved at least 5 persons and is believed to have occurred in the area of the Instanbul take away and Sam Webbs on Castle Street, Douglas.
