BBC One’s Inside Out on Mission To Seek Out Isle of Man’s Wild Wallabies

by isleofman.com 15th October 2010
This Monday BBC One’s Inside Out North West goes on a mission to seek out some of the Isle of Man’s wild wallabies. It is believed there are now up to one hundred roaming free after they escaped from a wildlife park 45 years ago. These beautiful yet timid creatures seem to flourish in the Island’s climate - despite the belief that they prefer hotter weather. The team came over for four days in September, searching the Island's vast countryside - but was their journey a success? Tune in this Monday 18th October at 7.30pm on BBC1. Digital viewers can catch the show on channel 978, satellite channel 101 or you can view it later on the BBC iPlayer. Ends
