Officers from the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team are investigating a report of an assault in Colours Nightclub in the early hours of Sunday 17th October 2010. The incident occurred at approximately 1.25 a.m. close to the smoking area of the nightclub and has resulted in a female receiving injuries to her face, the suspects are believed to be female. The injured female was conveyed to Noble’s Hospital where she was treated and later discharged. Police Constable Jamie Watterson of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team has stated “This is a shocking assault where the victim has received facial injuries. The club was particularly busy that night and anyone witnessing the assault would have been appalled by the conduct of those involved. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed this to come forward and speak with myself or any police officer.” If anyone has any information regarding the collision to contact Douglas Police Headquarters on 631212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
