Young Farmers Charity Concert

by isleofman.com 19th October 2010
The Young Farmers Concert in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer takes place at The Gaiety Theatre at the end of this week, Friday 29th and Saturday 30th October. It promises to be a show with a difference, writes Federation Secretary, Angela Teare, rehearsals are going well and together with having a lot of fun we also have the opportunity to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and celebrate 40 years of the Young Farmers Concert. The Concert has come a long way from its beginnings in Baldrine Hall but the enthusiasm is as great as ever and its giving some of the older Young Farmers the opportunity to show the younger ones how it should be done ! Tickets are selling fast, there are still some available, but you are encouraged to get them quickly, it could be 40 years before we do this again. Tickets are available from The Welcome Centre on 600555. The Young Farmers are very grateful to the support they have received from Isle of Man Bank and Manx Telecom. Ends
