Between 1600 hours on Saturday 16th October 2010 and 0750 hours on Sunday 17th October 2010 the driver’s door seal of a Black Renault Traffic Van has been forced using an unknown implement. The vehicle was parked in Creggan Mooar, Port St Mary. ENDS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Police in Castletown are investigating Criminal Damage to a Motor Boat in the Boat Park in Castletown Harbour. Criminal Damage was caused to the boat between Friday 15th October 2010 and Monday 18th October. The offenders have used a sharp implement to cut a plastic cover on the boat. This may have been done to gain shelter on the rear of the boat. Constable Higson said “ THE BOAT OWNERS ON THE PARK ARE FUSTRATED WITH THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE BEING CAUSED TO THEIR BOATS. I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND EVERYONE THAT THIS IS NOT A PLAY GROUND FOR CHILDREN, THERE IS A LOT OF EXPENSIVE AND DANGEROUS EQUIPMENT ON THE BOAT PARK.” Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police at Castletown Police Station.
