Christmas Wishes To Be Granted For Local Charities

Alliance & Leicester International launch the third year of 12 Days of Christmas Charity Campaign Douglas, ISLE OF MAN, (21 October 2010) – Santander’s local savings subsidiary, Alliance & Leicester International is getting set to make Christmas become extra special for a number of Manx registered charities. If you are a local Isle of Man charity and you need a boost of funds or help with a fundraising event then Alliance & Leicester International could be the Christmas Fairy you need. The local savings bank will be launching their 12 Days of Christmas campaign at an event in November, however are encouraging local charities to pre-register now. This is the third year the promotion, which will benefit many local charities, has been run, having previously been organised by sister company Bradford & Bingley International. Commenting on the campaign, ALIL’s Community Affairs Manager, George Campbell said “We have delivered some fantastic projects over the last 2 years, helping over 80 good causes. The staff at BBI and ALIL have been fantastic in supporting a number of charity fundraisers and we look forward to building on that success in 2011. We are very excited this year as charities have the opportunity to tap into a funding pool of nearly ?50,000 due to our link up with the Santander Foundation” With some changes from the previous schemes, charities are asked to register their interest by emailing george.campbell@alil.co.im or calling 641888 to receive an invite to the launch evening. There, full details of this years scheme will be revealed and more information given on how you can enter.
