Treasury Minister Anne Craine MHK will deliver the prestigious Sir Thomas Gresham Docklands Lecture in London next month. Mrs Craine will address an audience of leading City financiers, regulators, tax experts and decision-makers on the theme: ‘Extinction or Evolution: The Future for Offshore Centres.’ The event is the flagship finance lecture in the calendar of Gresham College, a 413-year-old institution which each year hosts an array of international speakers, including well-known authors, economists, politicians and academics. This year’s lecture takes place at East Wintergarden in the Docklands at 6pm on Tuesday, November 2, and will be chaired by Michael Mainelli, Emeritus Gresham Professor of Commerce and Chairman of Z/Yen - the City of London's leading commercial think tank.
