ACSP / Forward Training 2011 Programme Confirmed

Following the success of Forward Training’s Fiduciary Fundamentals training lectures delivered in collaboration with the Association of Corporate Service Providers in 2010 the ACSP has confirmed the company’s 2011 programme. The 2011 courses are: 28 January AML update – focus on creating an effective client risk profile. 12 noon - 2.30 pm 10 March Trustees’ duties and liabilities.12 noon - 2.30 pm 11 March *Introduction to Company Law and Administration. 10.30 am - 1.30 pm 31 March Financial Crime – an overview. 12 noon - 2.30 pm 01 April *Introduction to Trust Law and Administration. 10.30 am - 1.30 pm 19 May The effective Company Secretary. 12 noon - 2.30 pm 16 June AML update - focus on post reporting issues e.g. tipping off. 12 noon - 2.30 pm 21 July Identifying key risks and creating an effective risk management framework. 12 noon - 2.30 pm 15 Sept Managing a Commission visit and post visit issues. 12 noon - 2.30 pm 20 Oct Effective Boards and getting value from NEDs. 12 noon - 2.30 pm 01 Dec AML update - through a series of case studies. 12 noon - 2.30 pm Course marked * are induction courses suitable for staff with up to three years’ experience. All courses will be at the Upper Hall of the Loch Promenade Church, Douglas and will be delivered by Jo French from the Jersey International Business School. Booking is open for the first five courses and is only acceptable with a completed booking form and payment in full. Bookings will not be accepted by email. Courses are ?50 per person to staff of member and associate member firms, and ?75 per person to non-members. Cheques should be made payable to ACSP. Bookings will be confirmed by email.
