The Autumn Junior Open tournament, sponsored by Panacea Pharma Projects proved to be popular with the younger players, with no less than 25 under 8s playing most of the afternoon on Saturday 17th October. The other age groups though the entry was lower still provided some good standard, competitive play for those taking part. The Referee for the whole event was Colin Hanbidge, who was ably assisted on the busy Saturday, by Paul Bratty, and Sally Walker. The older age groups were played after school plus on Saturday and Sunday. At the conclusion of play on Finals Day, the prizes were presented by Lorraine Karran, on behalf of PPP.
