Police in Port Erin are investigating an incident of criminal damage that occurred at Scoill Phurt Le Moirrey, Station Road, Port St Mary. Between 10.30pm on Saturday 30th October, 2010 and 9.30am Sunday 31st October, 2010, damage has been caused to an ornate flower bed at the front of the school. The bed was in the form of large tractor tyre that had been filled with soil and subsequently planted with bulbs. Unknown persons have approached the tyre and stood it on it’s side and rolled it down a flight of steps, damaging the contents. Due to it’s weight, several people would have been involved. If anybody has any information about this matter they are asked to contact Port Erin Police Station on 832222. ENDS
