Christmas Market In Douglas Town Hall

by isleofman.com 4th November 2010
A Christmas market in Douglas town hall is to be held on Thursday November 18 in aid of the mayoral charity appeal fund. The market will be in the Council Chamber from 6 to 9pm and is being organised by Sharon Kissack who explained: ‘The theme is Manx arts and crafts. We already have more than 10 stall holders confirmed, but are looking to attract many more traders who want to promote their goods and services and offer some unique Christmas gift ideas.’ This year’s charity appeal fund is in aid of Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation and Kemmryk. In exchange for a stall, traders must agree to donate five per cent of their takings on the evening to the mayoral charity appeal fund. Booking forms are available from Sharon Kissack, sharon@ambitions.co.im. Telephone 214841. Ends
