Final Chance To Get Your Hands on a Honda

by isleofman.com 5th November 2010
This week is the final chance you will have to take part in The Children’s Centre’s ‘Hands on a Honda’ challenge. Kingswood Honda has generously gifted a brand new Honda Jazz to The Children’s Centre and they’re offering you the chance to win it. To be in with a chance to win it, you must buy a ticket from The Children’s Centre. On Saturday 13th November 50 names will be drawn at random. These final 50 will then undertake the ‘Hands on a Honda’ challenge on Saturday 20th November where the car will be divided in to 50 squares (one of which will be a pre determined winner, selected by an independent party), the finalist who guesses the correct square will then drive off with the car worth ?12,500. It is hoped that the fundraising initiative will raise in the region of ?15,000 for the charity. Michelle O’Malley, acting fundraising manager for the charity said, ‘We are incredibly grateful to Kingswood Honda for donating this fantastic car, we’ve been out and about all summer selling tickets and we have been amazed by the uptake, so now we’re just on that final push to sell the last few’. The local business community have also got behind the Hands on a Honda challenge with Microgaming, SMP Partners, Capital International, Crowe Morgan, Laurence Keenan, Aston International, Collins Stewart, Thomas Miller, Dougherty Quinn, IOMA and many others purchasing tickets for their staff teams. Mark Denton, Managing Director of leading independent trust and corporate services provider SMP Partners, said, ‘We are delighted to continue our support for The Children’s Centre with whom we have worked for many years and at the same time show our appreciation and have some fun with our 135-strong team by giving them the chance to win a new car’. Tickets will be available to buy up until Friday 12th November. If you’d like to purchase a ticket please contact the fundraising team on 631918 or email fundraising@thechildrenscentre.org.im. Ends
