Manx2.com Factor Boot Camp

by isleofman.com 5th November 2010
The finalists for the Manx2 Factor have now been selected for boot camp. With over 120 entries from across the Island, judges met last week to pick 20 children to compete to deliver the video safety briefings on Manx2.com aircraft. This Sunday (07 Nov), the finalists will be given red carpet treatment at the Sefton Hotel in Douglas, complete with celebrity lookalikes Sharon Osbourne and Katie Price! Along with judges from Manx2.com, the Department of Education and Children, and the Sefton Group they will pick a number of children for the speaking parts and the rest of those auditioned will be offered non-speaking roles in the videos. The competition, run in partnership with the Department of Education and Children (DEC), was open to all Isle of Man primary school children in years 1 to 6. Manx2.com Chairman Noel Hayes said: “We were delighted with both the volume and quality of entries. Safety is always our first priority and we hope that by producing a unique, unusual and entertaining video to show on our new large format video screens we will get the full attention of our passengers. “We will also be showing Isle of Man Tourism and Manx National Heritage videos which will further help us to fly the Manx flag and carry the Manx message far and wide.” Latest info updated on Manx2.com.com’s new twitter feed on www.manx2.com Ends
