Jo Jingles, the UK’s leading pre-school music, singing and movement group is coming to the Isle of Man! Local mother of two, Karyn McCaffrey has lived on the Island for over 12 years and currently works with special needs children within private nursery settings. It is an area of particular interest to Karyn as her own daughter Mya, aged 7 has speech and language delay and the whole family has been learning sign to provide further support. Karyn says, “The children have been having lots of fun with ‘signalong’ at school and I know how much musical activity helps to aid speech and language development. Jo Jingles provides the perfect platform to combine these activities.” There are now over 100 Jo Jingles franchisees running classes in more than 600 centres throughout the UK and Ireland and the company launched in Australia in October 2010. Karyn says, “I’m thrilled to be joining a successful and proven business franchise and am really looking forward to meeting lots of local families at classes.” Jo Jingles classes are fun and educational, structured according to age and introduce different educational themes each week. The aim is to give babies and toddlers from three months to 5 years of age a gentle introduction to music through the use of songs, nursery rhymes, percussion instruments, movement and dance, sound games & stories. The new classes start in January 2011 and as a special launch offer Karyn is offering a ?10 discount off a Term of Classes (10 weeks) for all new customers who register by 31st December, 2010.
