Abacus makes a senior appointment as part of a new strategy to push their fund services forward International Fund Administration Provider, Abacus Financial Services Limited, has made a senior appointment to develop and drive business, as part of the continued development to their fund services offering. The Douglas based company, has appointed Sandra McAuliffe as Business Development Manager, with a view to maximising their business potential in the ever competitive funds industry. Sandra will be working closely with Managing Director, Paul Kneen to promote Abacus’ current Fund Administration services as well as exploring new opportunities, both in the Isle of Man and in Malta. Paul Kneen said: “I am delighted to be able to welcome Sandra to Abacus. Sandra has a wealth of experience in both establishing and operating investment fund structures and in the regulation of both the Funds and their functionaries. I am positive that Sandra’s strategic efforts, together with her expertise, will prove to be a valuable asset to Abacus and our efforts to maintain our position as a leading international fund services provider. Sandra has worked in the Investment Funds sector in a wide range of location over the last 25 years, including the Channel Islands, Luxembourg, Italy, the Netherlands and Germany. Prior to joining Abacus, Sandra worked for the Financial Supervision Commission as a regulator and headed up the Fund Investments Services team.
