Police Media Release

by isleofman.com 15th November 2010
Lower Douglas Police Station situated on the junction of Lord Street and Fort Street has been unavoidably closed as a result of a suspected boiler leak and will remain so until further notice, however it is likely that the building will reopen within the next few days. The Fire Brigade have attended and have confirmed that there is no risk to public. The Isle of Man Constabulary would like to reassure the community that the closure will have no effect upon the quality of the policing provided, however members of the public are advised that all counter enquiries will be attended to at Police Headquarters, Douglas, where staff will be on duty.
