Thomas Miller Investment (Isle of Man) Limited has strengthened its board with the appointment of Phil O’Shea as a non-executive director. Phil has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector and has held various senior positions since moving to the Island in 1997.
He has undertaken a number of voluntary roles seeking to enhance the opportunities and well being for the Island community. He has been President and remains an active committee member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (IFS School of Finance), Chairman of the Isle of Man Bankers’ Association and is also a committee member of the independent charity Crimestoppers.
Phil holds an MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. In April 2010, he established “Blueprint” - a business consultancy focused upon providing added value advice and guidance on issues of strategic development, business risks and corporate governance.
Commenting on his appointment, Phil said:
