Castletown Police are investigating a theft which occurred sometime between 10.30pm on Thursday 11th and 8.30am on Friday 12th November, from a property in Stenning Place, Castletown. The persons responsible have removed the front and rear garden gates from the property. Both gates are around 3ft by 3ft and are constructed of wooden slats, both are painted black. They are the standard gates on the properties within the area. One of the gates has the house number screwed to it using black plastic numbers and the other gate has a spring attached which was used to keep it shut as the owner keeps a dog. If anyone has knowledge of the whereabouts of these items, or has any information in relation to this crime, they are urged to contact Police Constable 167 Lee Wright at Castletown Police Station, or alternatively give their information anonymously via the crimestoppers hotline 0800 555 111. ENDS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At approximately 0945 hours on Monday 15th November 2010 a White Vauxhall Vivaro which was parked in Beach Road, Port St Mary has sustained a damaged wing mirror caused by a vehicle that failed to stop.
