Results - A League – Monday 15th November – Edgewater A (108) v MAS (135) Edgewater B (128) v Deloitte (105); Island Restorations (125) v Davrost (130); Jelly Beans (100) v Stone Art (135); Motorvation (113) v Gamers (135); In a closely fought encounter Davrost beat league leaders Island Restorations to lift themselves into third place. For the home side Paul Barnett took a game off Island No.1 Dave Norman, while Colin Crawshaw lost a thrilling five game match against Steve Baker 43-45. Dave O’Neil did well to take maximum points after losing the first two games against junior Nathan Quilliam. Edgewater A retain second spot, but only by one point, despite losing to MAS who climbed one place to sixth. For the visitors Pete Ferguson traded games with Dave Hedley before winning 45-44 and Ian Kelly levelled the score after being two down but eventually lost 43-45. Deloitte drop one place to seventh after losing to Edgewater B who stay fifth. Motorvation slipped to fourth, a point behind Davrost, after losing to Gamers who sealed their maximum points win courtesy of Mike Hebden, who came from two games down to beat Travis Friend. The bottom of the table clash saw Stone Art take maximum points against Jelly Beans in match that saw old adversaries Phil Shaw and Les Callow battle out their usual five setter, with victory going to the latter.
