Request For Witnesses

by isleofman.com 25th November 2010
Shortly after 3am on Sunday 21st November 2010, a violent incident took place in the area of The Bottle Neck car park, Loch Promenade, Douglas. The incident involved a group of about five men, resulting with a number of the males being assaulted. A number of males received treatment at Nobles Hospital with facial injuries, but were released a short time later. Two men have since been arrested and charged with assault offences in connection with this incident and the Police are not looking for any other offenders. The Police would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time, who may have witnessed the incident or lead up to the incident to come forward with information, as it is believed the area would have been busy with members of the public and Taxi drivers at that time. ENDS.
