At approximately 10:20pm on Wednesday 24th November a taxi has been caused to drive off the road when being overtaken by a vehicle travelling at high speed. This occurred on the Castletown Road approaching Port St. Mary from Douglas. As a result the taxi, a Grey Ford Mondeo, hit a dry stone wall causing damage to the vehicle’s bodywork The police are appealing for anybody with any information on this event to come forward.
