Santa’s Little Helpers Appeal Gets Underway

by isleofman.com 30th November 2010
The Children’s Centre will once again be working with 3FM and Bradford and Bingley International on the Santa’s Little Helpers Appeal in the run up to Christmas. The appeal is an opportunity for people to donate toys which will then be distributed by The Children’s Centre to families that need them most Michelle O’Malley, Fundraising Manager for the charity said, ‘We never fail to be amazed by the generosity of the Manx community. By donating even one toy you are making a huge difference to a child’s Christmas. We’re so grateful to Bradford and Bingley International and 3FM for everything they do and we’re so happy we’re able to work with other charities and organisations to make sure presents go to those who need them most.’ The Santa’s Little Helpers Appeal is now in its third year. George Campbell, Community Affairs Manager for Bradford and Bingley International said, ‘We are really proud of the work we do with local charities and we just love getting out and about collecting toys for the Santa’s Little Helpers Appeal’. The Santa’s Little Helper team will be out over the next few weekend collecting toys but you can also drop toys into Bradford and Bingley International, 3FM or directly to The Children’s Centre.
