Adverse Weather - Domestic Refuse Collection Disruption November 30

by isleofman.com 30th November 2010
Douglas Borough Council waste management section is making every effort to limit some short-term disruption to domestic refuse collection schedules caused by the recent adverse weather conditions. Areas currently affected - but due for collection before close of business today, Tuesday November 30 - include Lancashire and Malvern roads (Bray Hill side), the lower section of Ellenbrook, the White Hoe industrial estate and St Christopher’s residential unit. A combination of snow, ice and parked vehicles is also restricting access to the Hatfield Grove area. These and any other affected areas will be revisited for refuse collection before close of business today, Tuesday November 30. It is anticipated that subject to weather conditions normal service will be resumed as of tomorrow, Wednesday December 1. For waste management enquiries, please telephone 696449. Ends
