Isle of Man Tourism is pleased to announce that their official Holiday Guide 2011 is now available.
100,000 copies of the 60 page Guide will be distributed free of charge to any potential visitor who requests one during 2011. They will be distributed widely throughout the UK and Ireland through various marketing activities staged throughout the year.
The Guide is an important marketing tool for the Isle of Man’s Industry partners and as you will see they have showcased their businesses throughout. Isle of Man Tourism wishes to thank all those who support the publication.
Minister for Economic Development, Allan Bell MHK, said:
‘The 2011 Guide features a cover photo of Peel Castle to promote the Island’s great heritage, while inside there is new photography, including images which have been successful in our annual Tourism Photo Competitions.
‘It portrays the real Isle of Man in terms of its countryside, heritage, activities and events and we look forward to visitors enjoying all our beautiful Island has to offer next year.’
Department of Economic Development Member with responsibility for Tourism, Geoff Corkish, MBE, MHK, commented:
‘The Guide is still a very important part of our marketing campaign but it is increasingly linked to our website. It is instant graphic information displaying the diverse beauty of our Island and all relevant holiday information.
‘We know that many of our visitors book their holiday having looked through the official Holiday Guide and it is our aim to improve it every year.’
Isle of Man residents may wish to encourage their friends and family to visit during 2011 so why not send them a brand new glossy Guide to entice them over and introduce them to the wealth of places there are to explore within our Island.
Any visitors interested in receiving a copy can request one by visiting the official Isle of Man Tourism website www.visitisleofman.com or by telephoning 01624 686801.
