Teams of up to 6 people from a number of organisations across the Island descended on the Barclays Wealth branch in Victoria Street across two days for the challenge which involved climbing, rowing and cycling. The exercise machines used in the challenge were kindly supplied by Carrefour who also provided shower and changing facilities. Head of local markets in the Isle of Man, Andy Booth said: ‘We’ve had a great couple of days in the branch, managing to exceed our ?5000 fundraising target and raising altogether ?8450 for the two charities. I would like to thank all of the teams who took part and Carrefour for very kindly providing the exercise machines and changing facilities. I would also like to thank Barclays customers for their generous donations throughout the day.’ ENDS
