Manx2.com is set to continue bringing the Manx message to Wales as it today announces its success in winning a four year contract to operate flights between Cardiff and Anglesey.
The Company, which is based in the Isle of Man, along with its partner carrier FLM Aviation, has been operating a seven month contract since May 2010 and has now been appointed to operate the service for four years with ?1.2 million per year support from the Welsh Assembly Government.
The new contract commences on 13th December, with seats on sale today via Manx2.com’s website www.manx2.com. 2011 fares start from ?19.95 single.
Deputy First Minister Ieuan Wyn Jones said: "This air link joining north and south Wales has proved itself to be an efficient, reliable and popular service. Since they stepped in to cover the flights earlier this year, Manx2 has proved that it can provide value for money and can provide the kind of service we are looking for. We have been determined to maintain this important connection which has proved very popular with passengers and has contributed to linking up the country with both social and economic benefits.”
